Description
What is the Vertigo path light base?
Vertigo is novel multi-function product which is installed at the base of a path light fixture. It enables the user to obtain and sustain straight lighting fixtures while minimizing the hassle of frequent ongoing adjustments that are the result of contact with a body, object or exposure to the elements of weather. It is intended as an upgrade replacement for traditional stake mounts that are often unstable.
How does it work?
Vertigo utilizes a patented spring-loaded flange design that enables the light fixture to tilt in all vertical axis when struck and then return to its prior adjusted position. Additionally, Vertigo enables the user to perform mechanical adjustments as opposed to relying on the temporary guesswork associated with repositioning light stakes and disturbing the soil that is the foundation for the light to remain aligned.
How to install?
Vertigo is installed in conjunction with a buried 3” PVC pipe segment in order to form a highly stable fixture-base assembly. It slips snugly over one end of the pipe to produce a low-profile, clean and visually appealing light installation. The path light riser is simply threaded into the Vertigo flange and through adjusting bolts on Vertigo’s top, perfect fixture alignment can be achieved and maintained.
